Name Latin America & Carribean 24 hour Description Hola amigos ! Welcome to our first HamSphere 4.0 Latin America and Caribbeans contest. You can work with everyone for distances points, but our Latin American and Caribbean friends will give you 10 extra points for each valid QSO and multipliers for their countries. Beam you antennas to South America and Caribbeans. Categories: Group A: Asia Group B: Europe Group C: North America Group D: Africa and Oceania Group E: Latin America and Caribbeans 1st places in every groups will receive 30 HS credits 2nd places in every groups will receive 20 HS credits 3rd places in every groups will receive 10 HS credits Mode SSB Bands 60, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 11, 10 m Rules NOTE: a frequency limit will be imposed on all bands (to allow non-contest stations room to operate during the contest). All contest contacts MUST be above 35kHz from the bottom of each band (example: 7.035 and up, 14.235 and up, 21.335 and up). Any contest contact made below the 35kHz contest band edge will not count. You can work all stations (inside and outside Latin America and Caribbeans areas) and you will receive points for distance between you and operator. You will receive 1 point for multiplier for each new worked Latin American and Caribbean country and territory one time during all event. You will receive 10 extra points for each valid QSO with Latin American and Caribbean operator. Repeated QSOs with the same operator are valid on every new band. Do not forget about 15 minutes rule. 15 minutes must have passed before you can contact the same op on a different band.
